My name is Veronika Nováková and I currently lead the Business Services, HR and Office support and Retail teams at Hays.
I joined Hays in 2018 and it all started very simply, when I was attracted to the advertised position of Junior Recruitment Consultant for this sector on the Hays careers website.

The interview went very well and I quickly got the impression that this is the right opportunity for me, where I will be able to develop in terms of communication, teamwork and business skills. I have always been part of a great team with strong leadership, and thanks to that I penetrated the real "business" very quickly and really found myself in this job.

I worked as a consultant for approximately two years. Since I was also interested in working with newcomers, I took the opportunity to also become part of the internal team of coaches so that I could pass on my acquired experience. In 2020, thanks to good results, I was then promoted to the position of Team Leader of the Business Services team, where, in addition to the classic process of external recruitment, I also deal with the strategic planning of business goals. I am pleased to be able to help my colleagues in the team achieve success and satisfaction from successful projects. I am lucky to have friendly, motivated, intelligent and hard-working colleagues around me, who make me look forward to work every day.
